This is a compendium of web links to some information about guns, gun gear, gun laws, shooting, training and internet forums.

Gear: PFT recommends gear which we know works well in the real world, under hard use.  These listings are not paid endorsements; we won't recommend gear or manufacturers whose gear we, or others we trust, haven't tried. It is by no means a complete list, as there is new good gear coming out all the time. If you have a piece of equipment you think is great (or a manufacturer's URL), e-mail us and we'll check it out. We're happy to post it here if it makes the grade. We've also posted URLs to vendors we have purchased from with good results. Regarding web forums: All opinions are not created equally [or if you prefer, "opinions are like certain body parts...everybody's got one"!]. The internet forums such as GlockTalk, Tactical Forums and 1911Forum can be great information resources and there surely are true experts who post there (like our friend Pat Rogers, or Hilton Yam, Richard Heinie, and many others) but beware. No shortage of information on the information highway (the "disinformation cowpath," as Pat Rogers calls it) is armchair opinion rather than experience-based, and has not been peer reviewed or validated. Do your homework.
