W.Virginia range: near Alderson, WV

Note: The GPS coordinates for PFT's WV range (which you can put into Google Maps or your GPS) are:

             37.729683 -80.60175  but NOTE: don't forget a map or to follow the directions. Your GPS, while handy, sometimes chooses an alternate route for you that isn't the best or most direct.

From the intersection of I-64 and U.S. 219 in Lewisburg, WV–
Take I-64 WEST to Exit 161 at ALTA (8 miles). Turn LEFT onto U.S. 12 South (towards Alderson/Pence Springs) and proceed for 11.3 miles to junction of U.S. 12 and U.S. 63, in Alderson WV.  Turn LEFT onto U.S. 63 and follow for 2.4 miles to the gate. TURN left at the PFT sign onto the gravel access road. Follow signs to the parking area, uphill about 1/2 mile. Note: this is PFT's privately owned/operated range at Fort Springs, WV.

Montana range #1: Yellowstone Rifle Club, Billings, MT

From I-90, take the Zoo Drive exit and go N/NW to Shiloh Rd. Turn north/right on Shiloh, and go N past King, Central, Broadwater, and Grand Avenues towards the "rim rocks". Shiloh Rd dead ends at Rimrock Road. Turn LEFT (west) on Rimrock Rd and travel past 54th St (at Yellowstone Country Club). Continue on Rimrock as it curves right (at 62nd St) and becomes the Molt Road. Continue past the new Ironwood housing development on the right. Shortly, you will go under a railroad bridge/overpass. Continue for approximately 1/2 mile. The fence gate to Yellowstone Rifle Club (YRC) will be on your left. YRC is a private, members-only range that PFT uses on a per class basis (for non-member students also).

From I-90, coming from the west: take the Zoo Drive exit and go N/NW to Shiloh Rd. Turn north/right on Shiloh, and go north past King Av, Central, Broadwater, and Grand Avenues towards the rimrocks. Shiloh Rd dead ends at Rimrock Road. Turn right/east on Rimrock Rd and go approx. 0.8 miles to Zimmerman Trail. Turn left/north on Zimmerman Tr. and wind up the hill until it ends at the intersection with Hwy 3. Turn right/east for 0.4 miles and turn left/north on Rod & Gun Club Rd for approx 1 mile, following it past Rehberg Ranch development. Bear right, and you'll see the gate to the club. The clubhouse can be seen from the gate and is the RV point, and where the classroom instruction is held normally. Range instruction is on the Action Pistol range at the rear of the club grounds (past Skeet area), in one of the pistol bays.

From I-90, coming from the east: Take the 27th St. exit and go north several miles through downtown and continuing up past the hospitals. 27th will end at the Airport/Airport Rd...go left/west there (you don't have to stop). You'll be on Hwy 3...continue west for several miles, and turn right on Rod & Gun Club Rd, which is 0.4 miles before (east of) the flashing light at Zimmerman Trail. Turn right/north on Rod & Gun Club Rd for approx. 1 mile...you'll pass the Rehberg Ranch subdivision, and then bear right and look for the club's gate. The clubhouse can be seen from the gate and is the rendezvous (RV) point, and where the classroom instruction is held. Range instruction is on the Action Pistol range at the rear of the club grounds (past Skeet area), in one of the pistol bays.
